Licensing & Activation
The INEOS Scanner is licensed per machine. Without a valid license, connecting to a vehicle is disabled.

Activating

If you installed with the installer, it activates this machine for you using your license code.

To activate or re-activate later, use Activate License in the app and enter your code.

Once activated, the license badge at the top shows your status and expiry.
Status badge
- Licensed — active and valid.
- Offline mode — the server couldn't be reached; the tool keeps working for a short grace period.
- Expired / Not activated — connecting is disabled until you activate a valid code.
