Pro-Level Ride Package with Rear Shock Reinforcement
PRO Rip Kit Package by Agile Offroad
The Pro version of our 2WD Sprinter 2500 RIP Kit adds upper and lower rear shear brackets for enhanced durability, along with upgraded FOX 2.5 shocks, Bilstein struts, and custom-tuned suspension components. Agile Offroad’s 2WD RIP Kit Pro Package represents the top tier of ride improvement solutions for Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 2WD vans. This comprehensive system delivers upgraded ride control, improved handling, and unmatched rear suspension durability. In addition to FOX 2.5 Commercial Series rear shocks, Bilstein B6 front struts, Agile’s proprietary coil assist kit, and custom-rated rear leaf springs, this Pro package includes our upper and lower rear shear brackets. These brackets reinforce the mounting points for the rear shocks—ideal for heavy loads, aggressive driving, or extended overland travel. Each component is bolt-on and engineered for easy integration. The rear spring rate is selected based on your van’s actual axle weight, ensuring properly matched performance regardless of your loadout.
Reinforces rear shock structure under load
Improves ride quality on pavement and trail
Reduces body roll and suspension sag
Handles overland setups and full interior builds
Bolt-on system — no welding or cutting required
Engineered for the Load. Built for the Long Haul.
Rear Shear Brackets Reinforce Shock Mounts
The Pro Kit includes upper and lower shear brackets that reinforce your rear shock mounts—one of the Sprinter’s most failure-prone points. Designed to handle heavy use, they add long-term durability and prevent fatigue from off-road or overland strain.
Rear Shear Bracket System
Reinforced Upper & Lower Rear Shock Mounts
Rear suspension mounts are a known weak spot on Sprinters. Our shear bracket system improves chassis rigidity and reinforces these stress zones, extending the life of your suspension under demanding conditions like towing or trail use.
FOX 2.5 Rear Shocks
Commercial-Grade Shocks for Heavy Loads
These large-body FOX dampers are purpose-built to handle the loads, heat, and movement of overland travel. With more oil volume and better cooling, they resist fade and deliver confident control over washboards, whoops, and loaded highway hauls.
Bilstein B6 Front Struts
Smooth OEM-Style Strut Upgrade
Bilstein’s B6 struts bring OE-level ride quality with boosted damping for stability and improved handling. A great match for lifted setups, they retain factory geometry and absorb road impacts more effectively—especially under added vehicle weight.
Agile Coil Assist Kit
Lifted Front Ride Height with Better Support
The coil assist kit adds ~2" of front lift and progressive spring support to reduce bottom-outs and nose dive. Tuned for comfort and control, it improves off-road clearance while maintaining a composed ride on pavement and uneven terrain alike.
Rear Leaf Spring Packs
Custom-Tuned for Axle Weight
No one-size-fits-all approach here—Agile rear leaf springs are offered in 4200, 4700, and 5400 lb rates to match your build weight. This ensures the ideal ride height, balance, and spring response whether you’re running light or loaded full-time.

The hardware is good but the manual could use more work
"I am so excited about all this hardware! A couple things I wish the seller could do a little bit better. 0. Be clear on the website exactly what the shipping times look like. I realize that orders like this can take time to process. I didn't realize it was gonna be close to three weeks from the day I ordered until the day that pallet delivered the products. 1. Update existing manuals to reflect the current product line. 2. Create an installation manual for this kit specifically. Currently it doesn't exist. 3. At the order page have an option to add on a swaybar. Not all 2 Wheel drive sprinters come from the factory with this component. And if you're gonna buy a rip kit that comes with linkages for a sway bar you're gonna want a sway bar as well. The simple option would've allowed me to buy this product at the same time I bought all the other suspension components and then have them all shipped on a single pallet and one shipment. 4. Have someone available to answer basic support questions on the weekends. I found myself just going to the sprinter source for him to ask the open source community there questions on the weekends when I was doing my install work by myself. Knowing that there were no resources available from the seller on the weekends. In short there's a lot of little things the company could do better to make the purchase process easier in the insulation process easier. Particularly for the do it yourself installers. Or installers that don't do this type of work that often."

Vast improvement!
"Just finished installing the kit. This has vastly improved the handling, reduced rock and roll to almost nothing. Ride is a bit harder, but not bad. Installation was straight forward, mechanically speaking. The springs are quite heavy and difficult for a single person to install. So far, very happy with the RIP kit."

So far not the best experience
"I placed my order on May 20th, no one reached out to me to let me know that parts were on back order until I reached out. My first call to follow up on my order was not returned for over a week. I just received the parts today."
