Description

What is the largest tire I can fit on a VS30 Sprinter 2500 (2019+)

2019+ Sprinter 2500 4x4s can safely run 245/70-R17 tires without fender modification. With the installation of Agile No Rub Fenders 275/70-R17 tires fit without rubbing or trimming.

2019+ Sprinter 2500 2WDs can safely run 245/70-R17 tires without fender modification. With the installation of Agile No Rub Fenders 265/70-R17 tires fit without rubbing or trimming.

Big wheels & off-road tires look great on any van! However, the 2019+ (VS30) Sprinter’s small front wheel arches make fitting 17″ wheels with large all-terrain tires problematic.

The newest Sprinter is an improvement over the previous generation in every way (except for tire clearance). But now, thanks to our newly developed “No-Rub” front fender fitting larger wheels & tires is now possible.

  • Maximum recommended tire size Sprinter 4×4:  275/70-R17*
  • Maximum recommended tire size Sprinter 2wd:  265/70-R17*

*Requires AO No Rub fenders.

Our Sprinter Front “No-Rub” fender is constructed from ABS/TPO plastic and simply bolts-on in place of the original fender. The factory mudguard bolts right onto the mini-fender for a clean near-factory fit installation.

The “No-Rub” fender is available in two finishes: Textured Black TPO Plastic & Color-Matched Smooth ABS Plastic. The Textured Black finish gives your van a ruggedized off-road look. The Color-Matched Smooth ABS Plastic finish blends in so well with the rest of the exterior only a highly trained eye would even notice they’re there. We’ve also made Unpainted Smooth ABS Plastic available for those who wish to handle painting on their own.

Color-matched painting adds 1-week processing time to your order. Your Sprinter’s paint code can be found on a sticker on the side of the driver’s seat (see last photo).

Excellent little fenders to help my 2019 2wd sprinter clear bigger tires! I went with method 701 wheels 17×7.5 and 265/70r17 bfg Ko2 tires no running at full lock or on bumps, I sure this fender kit would have let me clear 275’s but didn’t want any issues if I needed snow chains. A must have kit if you want to run any tires bigger than stock! Talk to John at Agile if you have any questions. Install is pretty easy, works with stock mud flaps or without!

This is a great product, and the customer service from Agile was awesome! I went with the painted version and the quality of the finish coat was excellent and I received the fenders very quickly after ordering. Installation was very straightforward- the Agile how-to video is very good- I found the hardest part to be back-cutting the factory clips for the body side molding- unfortunately those clips are easy to break. I am very happy with the final result! (installed 265/70/17 tires with original mud flaps and there is no rubbing).

Just installed these on my 2019 2500 2wd and was able to put 265/75-16 on there. Couple things: be extremely care with the plastic clips. We tried following exactly what was in the video but ended up breaking the 3 of the clips. I have fabricated some similar but the same (have not found identical clips) clips and will try installing the panels today. This could have been contributed to by trying to trim them in colder temperature than the video, leading to making the plastic more brittle. Also, I found it next to or actually impossible to remove the clips from the housing without destroying the clips. You won’t really be able to use a dremel and cutting wheel for all sides of the clips for trimming, although that is a much safer option keeping you from breaking the clips. 2nd go around with my fabricated clips, I had much better luck with a hacksaw blade. Overall, great mini-fender kit, but would be great it a couple more washers were included, and, extra clips for when we break them!
