  • Gain necessary clearance to run a 285 tire
  • Allows for more adequate clearance of 275 tire
  • Moves mud guard back approximately 1.5”
  • Instructions included

The Fat Tire VS30 Sprinter Rear Fender Trim Template is designed to be used on 2019+ Sprinters for laying out the cut line for trimming the rear fender opening. This trimming will move the factory Sprinter mud guard back approximately 1.5” which will allow the necessary clearance to run a 285 tire size. This trim also allows you to gain more adequate clearance for a 275 tire which is a tight fit. The trim template was designed using the original fender radius for the trim line so the OEM mud guards can be re-installed to retain a factory look.

The way it should come from the factory

"Even with OEM tires sizes these relocated mudflats look notably more comfortable. The installation process takes a bit of discomfort as you cut out parts of your vans body work. But the finished product is better than OEM. Most importantly for me it doesn’t scream mods and upgrades."

Works as described

"The kit went on a VS30 2wd. I didn't have any rubbing before the kit went on. But did have rubbing on the plastic liner during hard turns after installing. Had to use heat gun on fender liner to stretch/ relax it. It doesn't rub anymore."

cool idea

"a bit more complicated then anticipated, but it worked!"

Tried to save time

"Nice kit, but didn’t receive instructions in the kit. . it was a bad cut once and should have measured better on my part. But I learned from it, repaired painted and sealed. Done and it turned out okay so whatever."

K (3/5)

Good starting point.

"With some common sense, it worked well. Most people would be better off having it done by a professional."

Protect your mud flaps!

"Ice build up can cause a large tire to remove your mud flap with out warning! This simple modification solves this problem."
