"Installed yesterday, no big surprises other than how many holes I had to drill. . . hahaha. Fit and finish once complete is clean and tight. . . but is very dependent on how good you center punch the sheetmetal to start your drilling. . . . and accuracy of your drilling. I would recommend getting a couple new 1/8 bits. . . and also an extra 17/32 bit even though AO supplies one. Mine, even using lubricant profusely, started warping on last two holes and made securing the bushings a bit of a challenge. Took me and a friend about 4 hours total in home garage to do installs. . . with a couple short breaks. YEars of installing sliders, skid plates, winches, etc. . . . but the holes were time consuming. Once fully installed, I can bounce my 245# on it as hard as possible with absolutely NO FLEX underfoot. It is possibly the HIGHEST CLEARANCE slider setup marketed for not only Grenadier but other vehicles as well. The underside of sliders is one continuous smooth and very heavy duty surface. . . . . The mounting process and use of available mounting points as well as the additional bushing inserts that are installed into drilled holes and secured with provided bushing expansion tool. . . . are very effective. The weight of vehicle will be spread across approx 15-20 points per side. . . and with the very thick one piece metal slider/step outer cover. . . . . it is STOUT!!! Look great. . . . install was twice as long as expected and did not realize so many holes to drill. . . but slow and steady and was well worth it."

"Came exceptionally packaged. Includes a basic riv nut tool and the appropriate drill bit to make the final hole diameter. But, the drill bit goes dull quick, maybe after 4 holes. Very important to get metal drill bits and work your way up in size as directions say. The Grenadier body panels are made of titanium it appears! Directions are well done. Overall easy driveway install and fit and look match the Grenadier style and body lines. For me, they do function like a step but still have high clearance. They’re extremely clean looking and well built. There is enough exposed in the sides for a good foothold getting in, accessing the roof and protecting from car door dings in the parking lot. Exceptional all around!"
