Agile Offroad’s Electrical Cover is a refined upgrade for INEOS Grenadiers with or without the factory roof wiring. While the OEM piece offers basic coverage, this 6-1/2” long version fully encapsulates the plug and harness for greater protection against the elements. For vehicles without the factory option, it also serves as a clean entry point for custom wiring setups. A built-in mounting location accepts Baja Designs S2 and Squadron lights using standard 3/8” hardware, making this a versatile solution for trail-ready lighting and secure cable management.

INSTALLATION TIME: 30-60 Minutes

Installation Steps

1 Grenadiers Not Equipped with Factory Roof Power Outlet

The AO Sideburn Roof Outlet can be installed at any of the roof bar handle locations.

Use a T30 Torx bit to remove the six roof bar handle mounts.

Remove the roof handle and mounts.

Remove the plastic roof handle cover.

Front Roof Handle: Mark and drill a 7/8” hole approximately 8” from the front inner corner of the cover.

Rear Roof Handle: Mark and drill a 7/8” hole approximately 8” from the rear inner corner of the cover. Use grommet part# U15-1002 (sold separately).

Install grommet. For a watertight seal, punch hole in grommet smaller than wire diameter. Custom headliner wire routing will be required.

Remove adhesive tape back and install AO Sideburn Roof Outlet over grommet. Install proper wire connector.

The accessory power cable can be routed through the front or rear of AO Sideburn Roof Outlet. Remove desired tab.

Re-install the roof handle and mounts using the factory hardware. The AO Sideburn Roof Outlet comes with a 3/8”-16 threaded insert. Insert can be used to install desired light.

1 Grenadiers Equipped with Factory Power Outlet

The AO Sideburn Roof Outlet can be installed at any of the roof bar handle locations.

Use a T30 Torx bit to remove the six roof bar handle mounts.

Remove the roof handle and mounts.

Open the factory roof outlet cover.

Unclip and remove outer cover and housing.

The inner outlet panel is installed using adhesive tape. Remove inner panel.

Clean plastic roof handle cover using a mild degreaser. Remove adhesive tape back and install AO Sideburn Roof Outlet over factory grommet and connector.

The accessory power cable can be routed through the front or rear of AO Sideburn Roof Outlet. Remove desired tab.

Re-install the roof handle and mounts using the factory hardware. The AO Sideburn Roof Outlet comes with a 3/8”-16 threaded insert. Insert can be used to install desired light.
