Installation Steps

Remove the bolts that attach cross bars to the roof rack (marked ‘A’).

Manuever cross bars so the supplied carriage bolts can be slid into cross bar track (marked ‘B’).

Place carriage bolts approximately 11-inches from the roof rack rail (the width of a MaxTrax).

Pro tip: Solar panel mounts may need to be moved slightly to allow carriage bolts to be in proper position.

Install MaxTrax mounting pins on supplied roof bracket as shown.

Start with the inner most roof bracket. Mount it to the rack using the carriage bolt, supplied nut & washer hardware. Do not tighten all the way yet.

Align the holes of the outer roof rack bracket with the roof rack to cross bar bolt holes. Replace the factory bolt (marked ‘A’) with the longer bolts supplied in the kit. Tighten these bolts completely.

Mount MaxTrax onto MaxTrax pins. Once everything is lined up tighten both inner bracket bolts. Congratulations your installation is complete.
