Installation Manual

Keep a fire extinguisher secure and within reach at all times. This powder coated aluminum mount installs using factory mounting points and stays aligned with your seat position, ensuring consistent access no matter how your seat is adjusted.

  • Panel Clip Removal Tool
  • 13mm Socket
  • T20 Torx Bit
  • T30 Torx Bit
  • 10mm Socket
  • 10mm Wrench

INSTALLATION TIME: 1 Hour

Installation Steps

The ignition MUST remain in the off position throughout this installation. Adjust the seat height position up and to the rear.

Use a small pick to remove the two front seat mount bolt covers. Insert the pick into the cover locations as shown.

Use a 13mm socket to remove the two front seat bolts.

Adjust the seat to the middle position. Use a 13mm socket to remove the two rear seat bolts.

Use a panel clip removal tool to remove the wire harness clip from the front inside seat mount panel.

Use a panel clip removal tool to remove the wire harness clip from the seat bottom panel located next to the power seat connector.

Pull the red tab out on the seat power connector.

Push in on the black tab while simultaneously pulling apart the male and female power connectors.

Remove the head rest.

Carefully remove the seat and set it on a clean work bench.

Use a T20 Torx bit to remove the two seat module screws. Do not disconnect module.

If purchased with the Range Industries quick release fire extinguisher mount, install the quick release mount to the AO front seat bracket using two of the supplied M6 button head screws, M6 washers and locknuts. Torque to 3 ft lbs.

Use a T20 Torx bit to install the front bracket to the seat bottom using the supplied countersink head M5 screws as shown.

Re-install the seat module using the factory screws removed in step 11.

Locate the left and right side factory seat frame holes as shown.

Position the center and rear brackets with hardware as shown.

Use a 10mm socket/wrench and the supplied flag nut, M6 washer, and locknut to mount the rear bracket on the right side with the electrical seat adjustments. Hand tighten only.

Use a 10mm socket/wrench and the supplied M6 flange bolt, M6 washer, and locknut to mount the rear bracket to the left side of seat frame. Hand tighten only.

Use a 10mm socket/wrench and the supplied M6 flange bolt, M6 washer, and locknut to install the center and rear mounts together. Hand tighten only.

20 A/B

Use a T30 Torx bit and a 10mm socket/wrench and the supplied M6 button head screw, M6 washer, and locknut to mount the center bracket to the front bracket. Fully tighten all hardware. Torque to 3 ft lbs.

Re-install the seat following steps 1-9. Torque seat bolts to 45 ft lbs.

If purchased with the Range Industries quick release fire extinguisher mount, install the supplied bracket to any 2.5”- 4” diameter fire extinguisher using the supplied clamps.
