Our front coilover conversion kit provides two benefits to Sprinter van owners. It increases spring force in the front suspension while simultaneously adding 1-1.5” of lift. Shocks & struts only control the rate of motion in your suspension. The spring is what holds your van up & keeps your wheels on the ground. On a heavily built vehicle, the additional spring force will help your van maintain its composure and center of gravity. You’ll mostly notice the handling improvement our coilover provides during cornering. However, this kit will also benefit overlanders in a myriad of off-road situations.

PARTS INCLUDED

  • 2 x 2.5 ID Coil Spring
  • 2 x Lower Strut Collar
  • 2 x Wire Ring
  • 2 x Lower Spring Seat
  • 2 x Upper Spring Hat Assembly
  • 2 x Upper Strut Washer
  • 2 x Upper Strut Washer Isolator

INSTALLATION TIME: 20 Minutes

Installation Steps

Start with a clean factory Mercedes or Bilstein strut.

Install the supplied lower strut collar.

Install the supplied wire ring on the lowest strut collar groove.

Install the supplied lower spring seat.

Install the supplied coil spring.

Install the supplied upper coil hat assembly.

Install the supplied upper strut washer. Adhere the strut washer isolator to the upper strut washer.

Install the upper strut mount. (sold separately) Inspect the upper strut mount if re-using the old unit.

Install the factory Mercedes upper strut mount washer.

Install the upper strut nut. Tighten nut by hand only. After full installation, torque upper strut nut to 66 ft lbs and the two lower strut bolts to 140 ft lbs.
