Just like other “Christmas Babies”, Agile Offroad’s opportunity to mark their trip around the sun gets lost in the holiday hustle and bustle. Now that we’ve settled into January we’d like to take a look back and express our appreciation for all of your support over the last 8 years.

We trace our roots back to Ramsey El Wardani, a revered figure known for his achievements as a Four-time Baja 1000 and 500 Winner. Ramsey’s inspiration ignited when his wife expressed a desire to take a SportsMobile van off-roading. In that moment, a vision emerged – the potential for vans to explore terrain off the beaten path.

The Agile Offroad team began to come together when John Brindell and Glen Straightiff joined Ramsey. The three spent countless late nights at the original location on Greenfield Ave. in El Cajon, fueled by excitement and determination. Unfortunately, 2016 brought thrilling progress, but also tragedy as Ramsey unexpectedly passed away. John and Glen pressed on, adding Jesus Hernandez to the crew.

The Company would outgrow the El Cajon location, landing at the current Santee HQ in early 2018 – a significantly roomier space that reflected our expanding influence in the adventure van world. Agile continued to revolutionize the van industry and experience hyper growth before, during and after the pandemic. We finally expanded into our current location with a significant buildout to the showroom, office and warehouse space in 2021. The once small 5,000 sq ft first shop turned into the 18,000 sq ft destination where our 30 plus employees accommodate over 1,000 customers installations every year.

The one constant through our growth has been our engaged and enthusiastic customers. Our flagship products are the result of our customers’ experiential feedback. The industry gold standard RIP Kit suspension package stands the test of time. Our exclusive ARB Locker for Sprinter has opened once off limit destinations to our customers. Other fuel, water and power solutions give rise to the “enablement of limitless exploration and the connection of people, nature and technology” that is our ethos and mission statement.

Born on December, 24th 2015, Agile Offroad was pioneered by a few men who dared to be “Smarter Than Dirt!”.
