Introducing the New Agile x FOX Motorsport Shocks Tuned Specifically for
Sprinter
2500 4×4/AWD Vans
We are thrilled to announce the latest innovation in off-road suspension: the Agile x FOX Motorsport shocks, designed and developed in a unique collaboration between Agile Offroad and the FOX Motorsports team. Specifically engineered for 2500 4×4/AWD Sprinter Vans, these front and rear shocks feature cutting-edge technology developed from our race-proven components, ensuring unparalleled performance and durability. Whether you’re pushing the limits off-road or navigating rugged terrain, these shocks are built to deliver superior handling, consistency, and longevity in the most demanding conditions.
Overall Specs
- External reservoirs equipped with Internal Floating Pistons (IFP) separate nitrogen charge from the shock oil to prevent cavitation and provide more consistent damping
- Dual coated body with proprietary FOX Grey Cerakote® protective ceramic coating over zinc plated basecoat for improved corrosion resistance and durability
- 6061-T6 hard anodized billet aluminum 9-port high-flow race piston
- High-temp Viton® redundant seal pack system with main seal, wiper seal and scraper seal
- JM92 Advanced Suspension Fluid for superior race proven performance from 0-400° F – (mil-spec), developed for and used in off-road racing.
- PFTE-lined, heat-treated steel spherical bearings
- Anodized billet aluminum components
- Custom designed, developed, and tuned specifically for 2500 4×4/AWD Sprinter Vans

FRONT – Factory Race Series 2.0 External Bypass Remote DSC (981-21-400)
Position-sensitive External Bypass technology provides multiple zones of progressive damping throughout the shock stroke to optimize comfort without sacrificing bottom out protection and preventing harsh top outs experienced in more extreme terrain and spirited driving.
-
- FOX External Bypass shocks have racked up countless wins across the globe over the past 30 years. There’s no questioning whether they’re race proven, but in the words of Bob Fox, “we’re never done.” In that spirit, we’ve revitalized our tried-and-true externally adjustable position sensitive damping architecture to deliver all-new standards of performance and durability, all while streamlining the production process. External Bypass shocks allow external adjustment of the amount of fluid bypassing the damping piston across multiple several zones, providing an unprecedented level of fine tuning without compromising between comfort, traction, and bottom-out performance.
- Agile spec has 1 compression and 1 rebound zone – External bypass adjusters allow targeted adjustment of bypass flow in each zone, allowing you to fine tune the balance between plush comfort, traction, and stability/control.
DSC (Dual Speed Compression) Adjuster allows separate adjustment of high and low speed compression damping
- A DSC combined with an External Bypass architecture is somewhat unique/new and helps minimize cavitation to provide more consistent damping.
- The low-speed adjuster affects low shaft speed movements that generally affect the chassis like body roll in cornering, brake dive, or acceleration squat. Use low-speed for general stability, comfort, and traction/compliancy.
- The high-speed adjuster provides support in high shaft speed events to help resist bottoming over high frequency bumps and big impacts
General Specs
- 2.0” diameter steel body
- 7/8” chrome plated steel shaft
- 4.72” of shock travel
- Large -8 Rubber reservoir hose
- Rotating body cap
REAR – Factory Race Series 2.5 Internal Bypass Piggyback DSC (981-26-603)
Position-sensitive Internal Bypass offers the same zone based damping concept as the front External Bypass shocks in a smaller package (i.e. now external tubes) to fit the Sprinter application.
- FOX patented Internal Bypass shocks provide position sensitive damping in a compact package, providing plush comfort over light terrain, with progressive damping in both compression and rebound to prevent harsh bottoming and top-outs when things get bigger.
- Despite not having the external tubes to adjust each zone independently, these shocks were developed and tuned collaboratively between the FOX Motorsports team (for our own Race Support Sprinter) along with Agile specifically for Sprinter applications
DSC (Dual Speed Compression) Adjuster allows separate adjustment of high and low speed compression damping.
- 2.5” diameter steel body
- 7/8” chrome plated steel shaft
- 7.82” of shock travel
- Shaft boot protects shafts from roost and rocks to help seals last longer
