We’ve got bad news. This feature is going to be a little shorter than usual… for good reason though. We don’t want to spoil the surprises we have in store for you at Overland Expo West 2018!

If this van could talk, oh the stories it would tell. Having recently traveled to Anza-Borrego, Joshua Tree & Sedona this rig has seen some adventure. Trail tales aside, this van has a deeper connection to Agile Off Road.

With its digital arctic camo wrap, remodeled interior, and new off-road equipment, the Karakoram bears virtually no resemblance to the way it last left our shop. None the less, this Pleasure Way GTRV is, in fact, the last Agile Ford 4×4 van built by our late co-founder Ramsey El Wardini.

Credit for the unbelievable before & after transformation from the van on the right to the one you see today goes to Carlos Chaves (a highly-respected Southern California fabricator). Despite being taken in a completely new direction, if you knew our Ramsey, you know this is a build he’d be proud to be a part of.

Between the Agile Ford 4×4 conversion, Aluminess Bumpers, solar power system, fully built custom interior, and all the auxiliary lighting you could ask for, this rig is LOADED! Even more impressive than the build sheet is the fact Carlos completed it from start to finish in only 10 WEEKS!

From the custom shaped, heated & massaging front bucket seats to the sliding tray storage system out back, no expense was spared or detail overlooked on the mighty Karakoram. There are dozens more custom fabrications, unique features, and easter eggs built into this van. Unfortunately, this won’t be the feature that reveals them all. Worry not though van clan, all will be unveiled during Overland Expo West next weekend. We hope to see you all there!
