This week at Agile we laid some serious pipe in the “plumber truck”. What was once a perfect working man’s van has been transformed into a serious overland machine with our 4WD twin-traction beam (TTB) conversion. (Read more about Agile 4WD vans here!)

In addition to the 4 wheel drive conversion, we upgraded the rolling stock with 17” Method Grid wheels & 285/70-17 BFGoodrich K02 all-terrain tires. Then we added an AGM deep cycle battery & Blue Sea automatic charging relay (which keeps the battery charged while eliminating parasitic power draw).

However the coolest part of this build for us was the custom Aluminess rear bumper. This aluminum bumper was originally designed to fit an RV however we were able to modify it to fit the 7.3 Powerstroke diesel E350. 

Now that this rig looks & drives the part the next step is to ensure it’s got the range to get where the new owner wants to go. We’ll see this bad boy again in a few weeks when we install a custom replacement fuel tank.
