This week at Agile we completed our first installation of the Flarespace window flares on a 2018 4WD Sprinter 2500 144”. The slider (passenger) side flare was the standard unit and on the driver side flare we installed a slider window (see all C.R. Laurence windows here). The installation process took about 3 days from start to finish.

Once we had both the van and flares at the shop we began test fitting to see if the flares would need any “massaging”. Thankfully they fit perfectly. Next we color matched the flares to the rest of the vehicle and sent them off to paint. The now painted flares matched the van perfectly! So naturally, we celebrated by cutting some really big holes in the side of it. Then the cuts were cleaned up and the flares affixed. Now that the adhesive has dried, the Aluminess roof rack & ladder are mounted, and Maxxair roof fan installed this van is heading home with the customer for the next stage of the build.
