Recap of Our Latest Adventure with Agile Offroad and Mercedes-Benz Van Center-Warner
This past weekend, Agile Ambassador Don and Jeff, our Director of Industry Sales, concluded a remarkable Tech Night in collaboration with our friends at the Mercedes-Benz Van Center-Warner. The event was a blend of technology, camaraderie, and outdoor adventure, setting a new benchmark for what community events in the van life and off-roading world can be.
A Warm Start with Pizza and Presentations
The evening began on a delicious note with a pizza dinner, offering a relaxed atmosphere for attendees to mingle and gear up for the night ahead. Agile Offroad took the stage with a concise yet informative presentation, setting the tone for an evening dedicated to learning and exploration. The Agile reps taught the group about the importance of their flagship products, including the Speed Sensor Guards, Double Shear Brackets, Skid Plates, and the Diff Covers. The attendees were so impressed by the Agile Rear Differential Cover that they had them installed prior to hitting the trails.
Hands-On Learning with Mercedes-Benz
The highlight of the evening was the hands-on session in the shop, led by a certified Mercedes technician. Participants were taken through a comprehensive multi-point inspection of our vans, ensuring each vehicle was in prime condition and trail-ready. This session not only provided valuable insights into van maintenance but also underscored the importance of vehicle safety in adventure travels.
The Thrill of the Trail
With our vans inspected and spirits high, we embarked on an exhilarating trail run organized by Mountain West Van Social. Over 20 vans ventured into the breathtaking landscapes of Utah’s San Rafael Swell region, a testament to the beauty and ruggedness this part of the world has to offer. It was an unforgettable experience, combining the thrill of off-roading with the stunning natural beauty of the area.
A Musical Evening Under the Stars
The adventure took a melodious turn with a captivating performance by singer-songwriter Ira Wolf. Surrounded by the serene beauty of the San Rafael Swell, Ira shared her experiences and insights living on the road, bringing an intimate and personal touch to the evening. Her gratitude to Storyteller Overland for their support highlighted the sense of community and mutual support that defines the van life culture.
Campfire Stories and New Friendships
As the night drew to a close, we gathered around the campfire, sharing stories of our van life adventures and experiences. It was a moment of reflection, laughter, and new friendships, a reminder of why we cherish these gatherings so much.
A Special Thanks
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Sky, from Mountain West Van Social, for orchestrating such a fantastic event. It was a night of learning, adventure, and community, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
