Agile Offroad CEO, John Brindell and co-driver Chad DeRosa are set to tackle 1,000 miles of rugged Baja terrain in the NORRA Mexican 1000, kicking off in Ensenada, Mexico on Saturday, April 26. They’ll be joined in the Safari Class by Tim Hines and the Adrenaline HQ crew, who are making the journey from Montrose, Colorado with their INEOS Grenadier. John Brindell – Off-Road Racer, Industry Leader & Automotive Visionary
John Brindell is a seasoned off-road expert, racer, and automotive industry leader with over 30 years of experience in the world of 4x4 performance and vehicle engineering. His deep passion for on and off-roading and high-performance vehicles has driven his career, from competing in SCORE races, the Baja 500, Baja 1000, and San Felipe 250 to excelling in SCCA Race Pro Solo Events.
John’s professional journey began with 27 years at Off Road Warehouse (ORW), where he held multiple positions, gaining invaluable expertise in off-road vehicle modifications, suspension systems, and customer service. His leadership continued as he transitioned to FOX Factory’ Aftermarket Truck Division, serving as the General Sales Manager for three years, where he played a pivotal role in advancing suspension technology for off-road applications.
Today, John is the Co-Owner and CEO of Agile Offroad, where he leads innovation and R&D in off-road suspension, vehicle upgrades, and adventure-driven performance solutions. His commitment to engineering excellence and passion for off-road racing fuel Agile Offroad’s mission to provide top-tier products and modifications for Sprinter vans, INEOS Grenadier, and other off-road vehicles.
With a lifetime of hands-on experience, from competitive racing to product development, John Brindell continues to be a driving force in the off-road industry—pushing the limits of what’s possible, one trail at a time.
Chad DeRosa – Cinematographer, Director, Adventurer
Chad DeRosa is an award-winning cinematographer and director known for his compelling work in action sports and documentary filmmaking. As the co-founder of MN8 Films, DeRosa has spent his career capturing high-stakes stories in some of the world’s most remote and rugged environments.
His debut feature documentary, Out of Nothing, earned critical acclaim on the international film festival circuit, taking home awards for Best Cinematography, Best Director of a Documentary, Best Feature Documentary, and multiple Audience Choice Awards.
With a signature cinematic style, DeRosa continues to push creative boundaries, bringing the human experience to life in the midst of extreme real-world scenarios. His latest long-form project, the Arctic Expedition Documentary, chronicles a solo winter van life journey to the northernmost drivable point in North America in a custom 2020 Mercedes 4x4 Sprinter Van. Clocking in at nearly four hours, this immersive YouTube film showcases the raw beauty, isolation, and unforgiving elements of the Arctic—all while highlighting DeRosa’s grit, storytelling prowess, and passion for the road less traveled.
