Employee Spotlight: Meet Jake Harris

Welcome to our latest employee spotlight! Today, we’re turning the spotlight on Jake Harris, our Shipping and Receiving lead at Agile Offroad. Jake’s been an integral part of our team for three years now, and he’s here to share insights into his role, favorite Agile products, and life beyond the office.
Hey Jake, excited to follow you around this morning. Let’s start off with, how long have you been part of the Agile Team?
About three years now, officially three in August! Time has flown, but its been incredible to see how the business has grown in a short period of time.
Awesome! So, what’s the one Agile product you think that really stands out to you?
Gotta give it to the ARB Air Lockers, they’re game changers, alongside our RIP Kit, it really enhances the Sprinter’s performance.

Totally agree! What would you say from your perspective, has been the best selling item we have?
I would say since we rolled out the Grenadier Steering Stabilizer, that’s been a massive hot ticket item. If not at least one being sent our every day, its several. It’s crazy to see.

Makes sense. Any common mistake you notice clients might make when they order online?
Yeah, folks sometimes forget to double-check the Model Year fit. Easy slip-up, but it’s best to triple-check. And hey, when in doubt, give us a shout. Don’t be scared to call, that’s what we’re here for.
That’s great insight. What’s your favorite part of your job here?
Being the fixer-upper guy, solving problems pronto, and working with this great team. It makes even the longest days enjoyable.
Sounds great. So, walk us through a typical day on the job.
Pulling parts, smoothing out the rough spots, and making sure every order is packed and going out correctly. Keeping the warehouse in good shape, and helping out the sales team wherever I can.
You’ve got it locked in! Have you ever considered getting into a Van yourself? If so do you have a model in mind?
Well, John’s got a pretty killer setup.
So, you’re a fan of the Revels then?
Nah, just John’s ride, I’d swipe his van in a heartbeat. Just don’t tell him I said that!
Fair enough! What’s your jam outside the 9-to-5 grind?
I used to go climbing a lot, but these days, it’s all about sailing ever since Lance took up being a sailing instructor I’m always tagging along. In general I love soaking up time with family and friends.
Sounds like a blast! So what does a typical weekend look like for you then?
Living it large, chillin’ with Lance, either at home, maybe sailing or tearing it up around town. Often we go up to Orange County a lot because thats where we grew up, and its nice to go visit all of our family and High School friends.
It’s so cool that you’ve stayed close friends for so long! Even cooler that you work at the same place.
It’s better that we don’t work in the same department, but also nice that we can carpool to work.
That’s a wrap on our spotlight with Jake Harris! From his thoughts on our top-selling products to his passion for problem-solving, Jake’s dedication shines through in every aspect of his work. Thanks for giving us a glimpse into your world, Jake!
