Flat tires suck! Performing mid-trail repairs are even worse. However, the Hummer H1 3.5-Ton Scissor Jack takes a bad situation and makes it much more manageable.

With over 17” inches of lifting height & 3.5-ton weight capacity, this jack is exactly what you’ll need to support your Ford E-Series, Transit or Mercedes-Benz Sprinter off-road van. Included in this package are a wrench and several extensions which make it quick & easy operate the jack. The reversible, anodized black, billet aluminum adaptor produced by Agile Off Road is designed to support the rear axle or along the frame rail to provide multiple safe jacking points.

1 review for Off Road Scissor Jack w/ Axle & Frame Adaptor

  1. Dr. Rob Roy Ramey

This adapter, in combination with a standard Hummer H1 scissor jack (3.5 ton rating) is the all time best off-road jack I have found. This combination is stable, safe and easy to use. It has a low profile and easily lifts a full loaded Land Cruiser. The adapter allows you to lift from the axle or frame. The wide base makes it stable. Two tips: 1) clean the excess grease off the jack screw so it does not attract sand and grit, 2) make sure the adapter turns freely and does not bind on the Humvee post – file and sand with emery cloth as needed so it rotates freely. We do research on elephants in the Northern Namib Desert, where you are truly on your own, so safety and reliability are paramount. The reduction gear on the jack makes it a bit slow, but slow is safe in the middle of nowhere. I also carry an X-Jack which has proven invaluable for quick recovery from bogs and sand, and a hi-lift, mostly because I need it for breaking the bead on flat tires to repair them by hand, though it can be useful in other recovery situations.
