These Agile built Winnebago Revel 4x4s were up-fit for the (virtual) La Mesa RV Super B show. This isn’t our first collaboration. And for the Super B, La Mesa RV asked the whole kit and caboodle.

2020 Winnebago Revel 4×4 Agile Extreme Package

We’re often asked by new Revel owners “What are the must-have Revel upgrades?” If you asked the magic 8-ball, the Agile Extreme Revel package would be the answer.

If “what’s the biggest tire size I can put on my Sprinter 4×4” is your next question, 275/70-R17 is forever and always our answer. We choose ‘Sand’ Black Rhino Arsenals (2020’s most popular van wheel) to compliment the Mercedes pebble grey color scheme. And if you haven’t already heard the VS30 Sprinter’s (2019+) smaller wheel arches means No Rub fenders (or a sawzall) are required to fit anything larger than the factory Revel 245 width tires. With their smooth ABS plastic construction, integrated mud flap provisions & color-matched paint – to the unknowing eye they look like they were made at the Dusseldorf factory.

We’re extremely proud of the design & function of our VS30 tire carrier. It allows for complete visibility of the rear license plate & taillight. Plus our 3D printed limited-travel door stops prevent incidental damage to the Revel window flare with the door fully open. An innovation allowing us to make room for our 28-gallon auxiliary fuel tank system. This transfer style system extends the Sprinter’s range to nearly 800 miles. Fill up at the cheapest gas station on your route, or don’t at all. This system is the end of range anxiety.Suspension is our specialty and with all the accessories (plus everything from Winnebago) this RV was in definite need of the RIP Kit. Custom replacement rear leaf springs (build based on the Revel’s weight) & Agile Exclusive Fox shocks keep all of the heft under control. The coil over conversion & MAX Auxiliary shocks provide lift and stability to the front. Overall ride height increase from the additional spring force is 2”.

McDonald’s won’t super-size your order anymore, but we will! Already equipped with everything from the ‘Extreme’, we called Backwoods Adventure Mods to take the ‘Super’ to the next level.

The Backwoods design team deserves kudos for the new Nomad front bumper’s fit and finish. No aftermarket bumper can be called stealthy but equipped with the bull bar, this one does a great job of ruggedizing the Sprinter’s body lines. All while retaining adaptive cruise, parking & lane-keep assist systems. 4-Rigid D-Series flush mount LED light pods tapped into the factory wiring replace the original fog lights. Then there’s the 20” Rigid E-Series in the bull bar and 40” on the roof to ensure you never outrun your lights.With so many accessory add-ons simplifying the operation for the end-user is imperative. All of the switches controlling lighting & onboard air are mounted in the dash using genuine Mercedes switches.

During off-road adventures airing down and recovery tools are helpful. In the rear we integrated a rear air source in the Backwoods rear bumper. On the roof we mounted a set of MaxTrax using our Revel specific mounting brackets.The plan was for these rigs to make their rounds to this years overland shows. But they’ve already found new homes.
